Blog Post Final Reflection
Game Reflection
I first thought of the layout to be more of a story with completely different ideas for the levels. I wanted it to be a fun and cute game with a story with it as well. There was a lot of problems when I wanted to switch the backgrounds for some reason. I figured out how to switch in a way that wasn't too soon and missed out on some information before the scene was supposed to change. I tested it over and over again until it worked. Sometimes if it wasn't working and I started to get frustrated with i tor myself I would just move on to something else and go back to it later. I think the game does work how I intended it to. Minor things here and there aren't exactly how I pictured them to begin with, but overall the concept and story was what I was originally thinking. I am mostly proud of the fact that I completed it by myself without asking for help. Throughout this entire Scratch unit, I asked for a lot of help so I am proud that I have a working game done all by myself! I'm a little disappointed that some of my original ideas never made it into the final game, but the game still makes sense without them so I wasn't that upset.

Final Scratch Game
Gobo's Adventure
The goal of my game is to have Gobo meet Scratch Cat at a baseball game. There will be many obstacles on your journey. Gobo and Scratch Cat both start in their bed room and decide to meet at a baseball game. Scratch Cat leaves right away, but Gobo must do things and needs your help to get to the baseball game in time!
Level 1: School
Before Gobo can go to the game, he must go to school. Once at school you must click the numbers in order to complete. After you are finished, you will move on to level 2.
Level 2: Food
Gobo must eat healthy food to have enough energy for the game. There are many different options of food on the screen. It is your job to pick the right and healthy foods for Gobo to eat. Once your score reaches 50 points, you will move on to level 3.
Level 3: Balloon
Finally, on Gobo's way to the game he passes Perry the Penguin. His balloon floated away and is out of his reach. Perry knows that Gobo can fly and asks him to get his balloon down. Use youre arrows on your keyboard to control Gobo to get the balloon. Once you have it, give it back to Perry the Penguin. Now you are ready for the game!
Final Level: Baseball Game
You made it! You helped Gobo make it to the Game in time!
Sprites used: Gobo, Scratch Cat, Penguin
Backgrounds used: Bedroom, School, Room, outside, baseball game.
Scoring: Score will be kept on level 2 only. 1 point per healthy food eaten.
How to win: Help Gobo through the obstacles and make it to the game.
Levels: 3 Levels (plus final level)
Difficulty: The difficulty increases throughout the game.

Describing Two Student Games
Megan M made a really cool alphabet game. If you clicked the letter on the key board, the letter on screen would change into an animal and say what the letter is for.
Emma's game was a little different. If you clicked on the sprite it would change into a different object and then say what it was. The speech bubble would stay up for a few seconds and then disappear. If you clicked the letter again the words would come back up.
